  • Chamber draws up manifesto

    Dan Santy

    26 June 2008

A MAJOR business document will give companies in the borough a chance to address important issues and voice their concerns.

The Coventry and Warwickshire Chamber of Commerce is producing the manifesto which will set out the aims and objectives for businesses in the county for the next decade.

Areas such as transport and crime will be addressed, with the document providing a means for lobbying government in an attempt to ensure major issues are dealt with.

Policy officer Stephen Docherty said: "Some of the issues will cover businesses right across the area - such as the reduction of red tape and the improvement of skills.

"But we are also aiming to find out issues specific to certain parts of the region."
