DUNTON and Broughton Rangers bounced straight back from defeat by thumping local rivals Lutterworth Town 5-1 on Saturday.
Lutterworth came into the game full of confidence after seeing off FC Dynamo 4-0 last week and took an early lead against Dunton but the hosts hit straight back through Greg Richards.
Richards then converted a penalty to give Rich Richards' side the lead before half time.
Dunton took full control of the match in the second half as Gerard O'Flynn bagged a brace and James Nutt headed in their fifth of the afternoon.
Dunton manager Richards said: "We needed to raise our game today and credit to every player, nobody let themselves down.
"It was potentially going to be a difficult game as the Town have hit some recent form, but it was very pleasing to have acquited ourselves so well."
Both Lutterworth Town and Dunton have this Saturday off while tite chasers Lutterworth Athletic travel to eight placed Anstey Town, who recorded a 2-0 win over Ravenstone on Saturday.
