Theatre puts on politcal farce

POLITICAL farce Out of Order opens for a week-long run at Rugby Theatre on Saturday, April 11.

Written by Ray Cooney, it follows fun and games in a small hotel in Westminster as a junior government minister Richard Willey plans to have his wicked way with a young lady from the opposition party's typing pool.

He is, of course, frustrated at every turn by, among other things, a body trapped in a window, an unscrupulous waiter, the sudden arrival of the young lady's husband and his own wife, and a bossy nurse - not to mention the assistance of his bumbling parliamentary secretary.

The show is directed by Bill Chapman and has a cast which includes theatre favourites Neil Morgan, Tom Browning, Lee Bunting, Debbie Hibberd, Helen Ireland and Tracey Seymour.

Tickets are on sale from the box office on 01788 541234. The box office is open weekday evenings from 7pm to 8pm, Saturday mornings from 10.30am to 12.30pm and during the week of a live show from noon to 2pm.
