Second man charged with robbery at jewellers

A SECOND man has been charged with a robbery at a town jewellers last year.

Darren Pallas from Cross Green in Leeds will appear at Warwick Crown Court in March charged with the robbery at Tarratt Jewellers, Regent Street, on September 3.

The 33-year-old was arrested last Thursday (January 24) and brought to Warwickshire where he was interviewed by police before being charged.

Pallas appeared at Leamington Magistrates Court on Monday (January 28) and was remanded in custody to appear at Warwick Crown Court on March 11.

In October, Jordan Mitchell, 25, from Mary Street in Bradford was sentenced to five years in prison after pleading guilty to the robbery.

A third man arrested on suspicion of robbery has been released from bail with no further action to be taken.
