IMAGES of two men police are trying to trace in connection with an armed robbery at a bookies have been released.

Two men went into Coral bookmakers on Hillmorton Road last Tuesday (January 15) shortly after 10am wearing boiler suits and balaclavas.

One stood guard at the door while the other - armed with a machete - threatened the cashier into handing over money.

The pair ran from the shop with a blue holdall containing a small amount of cash and crossed the road into Kingsley Avenue.

Witnesses saw them running down Studland Avenue where it is believed they got into a car before driving off towards Lower Hillmorton Road.
