CINDERELLA and Prince Charming will be looking for love at Rugby Theatre.

The Henry Street theatre stages its annual panto from tomorrow (Friday) until January 22.

With a little bit of fairy magic and lots of cheering, booing and shouting out - the hopefully happy couple will be looking to defeat the wicked step mother and ugly sisters.

There are weekend matinées on Saturday and Sundays.

Tickets can be bought in person at the Theatre each weekday evening from 7pm to 8pm, on Saturday mornings from 10.30am to 12.30 pm, and during the week of the show from noon to 2pm.

Dunchurch Pantomaniacs present their annual panto at the Village Hall for eight performances - including matinées - from January 18 to 26.

Directed by Paul Smith, another generation of young villagers have joined many of the established cast to sing and dance their way through an updated version of the traditional story - complete with skeletons, belly-dancers, an Octopus, as well as Dick and his faithful Cat to combat King Rat and his horde.

All profits to local good causes.

Doors open 30 minutes before start of performance, which are on Friday January 18 at 7.30pm, Saturday January 19 at 2.30pm and 7pm, Sunday January 20 at 2.30pm, Wednesday January 23 at 7.30pm, Thursday January 24 at 7.30pm,

Friday January 25 at 7.30 pm, and Saturday January 26 at 6.30pm

* IT'S also panto time at Rugby Christian Fellowship Church over the weekend.

Jacques and the Beanstalk - the traditional story written as a new pantomime - can be seen at the Cambridge Street, on Saturday (January 12) at 6pm, and Sunday (January 13) at 3.30pm.

The cast are all local amateurs, featuring a Dame, Baddie, and a Princess, together with a 15-strong cast of singing and dancing children.

Advance tickets for Saturday have sold out, but there are still have a few tickets available for Sunday available on the door or via www.rugbyelim.org.uk/panto.
