Body found in canal at Crick

POLICE have cordoned off part of the canal at Crick after a man's body was found.

The body was discovered in the Grand Union Canal at Crick Wharf by a passer-by this morning (Thursday) at around 8am.

Northamptonshire Police have described the man as white but have released no further details.

Officers are carrying out enquiries around Edwards restaurant and with boat owners in the area.
