Hi: 15° Lo:3° 7 day

WRESTLERS will be decking the halls with holly, tinsel, and some lycra as they get ready for a series of Christmas contests.
The Wrestling Association of Rugby (WAR) is back for a festive show of high flying, body slamming action on Saturday December 1.
The Festive Throwdown will even see the appearance of Santa himself in the ring as he is joined by favourites including Falcon, Xander Cooper and The Spindoctor.
On the night, the WAR heavyweight title will be on the line as crowd favourite Blue Thunder squares off against three others in a four way battle.
Also appearing at WAR, for the second time, are the all-singing, all-dancing duo of Clarkewood.
There will be a total of five matches on the night, including a Christmas Rumble featuring many of WAR's most popular wrestlers.
And to spread some Christmas cheer, Santa will be handing out sweets and presents to the girls and boys at ringside on the night.
The show, at Lawrence Sheriff School, Clifton Road, starts at 7pm.
Tickets cost £6 adults, £4 under 15s or £16 for a family for two adults and two children.
Call 07795 621740 or email tickets@waruk to book tickets.
