LIFE in the First World War was the subject for pupils at Bilton Infant School.
In the lead up to Remembrance Sunday the youngsters have been learning about the Great War by taking part in special classes.
They discovered what life was like in the trenches where they wrote letters to loved ones, while nurses visited the school to take part in a role play set in a trench hospital.
And the youngsters also learned a tea dance which they will perform to visitors at a Remembrance tea party where they will also talk to the audience about the 1914-18 conflict.
“War victims”, Luke Broomhead, Annabel Browning, Molly Sheffield, Daniel Harrison and Ashton McBain get some first aid from University Hospital nurse Rebecca Lockett.
