FIREFIGHTERS tackled a huge blaze at a furniture warehouse at the weekend.
Let's Buy Furniture, on Somers Road, went up in flames on Saturday (November 3) at around 9.30pm.
Warwickshire Police today (Monday) confirmed it was investigating the fire and has not ruled out the possibility it was started deliberately.
Fire crews were at first called to a tree fire on Somers Road but arrived to find the furniture storage warehouse 'well alight'.
Five fire engines in total were sent to the scene, with crews spending the night there tackling the flames.
Firefighters were under pressure to put out the fire as quickly as possible due to the risk of a nearby ammunitions factory setting alight.
A rescue platform had to be used to allow them to tackle the blaze from above.
The fire was under control by around 11pm, although the last fire engine did not leave the site until 6am yesterday (Sunday).
