AMERICAN Pie actor Thomas Ian Nicholas will play an acoustic set at the Vault in Rugby.

In what marks a coup for the Church Street club, the actor and rock musician - known for playing Kevin Myers in the American Pie films - will perform on Thursday (September 27) in the town as part of his UK tour.

He will be supported by Rugby's own New Town Revival, who will kick the show off at 8pm.

Daniel Fellowes from the Vault said: "We're very excited to have such a recognisable face playing such an intimate show with us."

Nicholas appeared in all four American Pie films, including last year's American Pie: Reunion.

He has written and performed songs for 16 years, and has played 350 shows and released four albums since 2008.

Tickets cost £4 and can be bought by visiting http://vault.ticketleap.com or on the door.
