A TEENAGER has died and four others have been injured after the car they were travelling in crashed in Stockton - near Southam - last night (Thursday).

The smash happened on Napton Road at just before 7.30pm, with the car rolling onto its roof.

Four ambulances, two rapid response vehicles, a paramedic officer and Warwickshire Air Ambulance all attended the scene.

A West Midlands Ambulance Service spokesman said: “Crews arrived to find a car that had rolled over and had come to rest on its roof.

“Unfortunately, it quickly became apparent that nothing could be done to save the driver of the car, and he was confirmed dead at the scene.

“Four passengers, three men and one woman, all believed to be in their late teens, suffered mulitple minor injuries in the crash and received emergency treatment at the scene and their conditions were stabilised.

“All four were transferred by land ambulances to hospital for further treatment, the three men to University Hospital in Coventry and the woman to Warwick Hospital."
