Rugby Town start with away fixture

By Jamie Arrowsmith 18/07 Updated: 23/07 12:15

RUGBY Town will start the new Southern League Division One Central season with a trip to Ashford Town (Middx) on August 18.

Dave Stringer’s men will hope to avoid a repeat of last season’s fortunes against the same opposition when they fell to two defeats.

The first action at Butlin Road takes place three days later when Biggleswade Town are the visitors before August ends with a trip to Daventry Town on Bank Holiday Monday (August 27).

Boxing Day will see Town travel to Aylesbury whilst they start 2013 with the return fixture against Daventry.

Valley’s final home game of the season is against AFC Hayes on April 20 before they complete their campaign seven days later at Chalfont St. Peter.
