TWO masked men raided a town centre hotel and threatened a worker there before stealing cash.

The pair, both wearing scarves across their faces, got into the Three Horseshoes Hotel through the back door on Drury Lane on Sunday (August 5) at around 5.45pm.

Once inside they went up to a member of staff and demanded the till was opened. The pair then made off along Drury Lane with an unknown amount of money.

Although not injured the member of staff was badly shocked by the incident.

Police describe one of the men as around 6ft tall and well built, like a rugby player. He had a distinctive hunched walk and wore a black, a grey scarf across his face, grey tracksuit bottoms with a white stripe, and black leather gloves.

His accomplice was shorter and is described as fat. He was wearing a grey or blue hoodie with the hood up, a scarf across his face and gloves.
