TIM Hastie made the most of excellent conditions to win Rugby RCC's ten-mile time-trial on the K11/10T course.
Hastie topped the times with 21-25 but was pushed by David Newton who ended just eight seconds behind.
Dave Kiernan chose to ride a 2up with Matt Jones but the pairing did not quite work out and their time of 22-46 was a little disappointing.
Two tandems were ridden by married couples with Roland and Sue Elsdon making their regular visit from Australia and Leamington C&AC's Steve and Chris Walker also competing.
Colette Marshall lowered her PB yet again to head the handicap list.
