A WOMAN and her grandson were forced into a room and ordered to stay put by burglars who ransancked the house and stole jewellery, money and computers.

The pair were left badly shaken when three men scaled a 6ft garden wall and climbed onto the conservatory roof to get inside the Aqua Place home before searching for items they could steal on Monday (July 23) shortly before 3.30pm.

As the gang rooted through rooms, they were disturbed by the people living there and took gold bracelets and earrings a woman there was wearing before ordering her and her grandson into one of the rooms.

The burglars then continued their raid, leaving through a downstairs window at the front of the house and making off with jewellery, money, three brand new computers and two ornamental swords.

Neither the woman or her grandson were hurt during the burglary, but they were left badly shocked according to a Warwickshire Police spokeswoman.

Police want to hear from anyone who may have witnessed the raid, especially anyone who saw the gang getting into a car which could have been a BMW.
