Man wanted for recall to jail

POLICE are hunting a man who breached the terms of his release into the community shortly before finishing his jail sentence.

Jason Coombes was sentenced to three years and three months in prison in August 2009 for handling stolen goods.

The 38-year-old had been released under strict licence conditions to complete his sentence in the community.

But he breached the terms of his licence and his now wanted for recall to prison.

Police have visited his last known address in Wood Street and spoken to his family and friends in an attempt to locate him.

Officers are now asking the public to call the police with any information on his whereabouts.

Coombes is described as 5ft 8in, of slim build, with brown eyes and short black hair.

Anyone who sees Coombes should contact the police immediately.
