RUGBY Town Girls FC produced some fine displays at the Milton Keynes Tournament as they began preparations for the new season.

The u10s performed well to finish third and although narrowly missing out on the Cup, they did win the Plate.

There was another third placed finish for the u12s in a large group. That was enough to put them in the semi-finals but they missed out on a place in the final when losing on penalties.

Competing at a higher level, the u13s did well in the u14s’ event where they finished second in the league stages but went on to win the Cup on penalties.

The Ladies, again in a large group, finished fourth and reached the semi finals but they were unable to go on and book a final place.
