Marathon challenge is completed

ULLESTHORPE Golf Club Captain Pete Towers was joined by Lady Captain Carol Doyle, Bill Leithead and Alison Horak in completing the Four Club challenge last Thursday.

The quartet started at Whetstone Golf Club at 5am before moving on to Kirby Muxloe GC and Lutterworth GC.

They arrived at their home club at 6.30pm to begin the final round.

On average, each round was completed in three and a half hours, played to a four ball betterball format.
