Hi: 16° Lo:4° 7 day

A HAULIER was killed when his lorry crashed head-on with another on the A5 near Kilsby early this morning (Friday).
The 47-year-old man from Luton, who has not yet been named, died at the scene of the smash on Kilsby Road at around 1am.
His lorry hit another travelling in the opposite direction, causing a fire, according to Northamptonshire Police.
The driver and passenger of the other lorry were not seriously injured but were taken to Northampton General Hospital as a precaution.
Both men were then arrested on suspicion of death by dangerous driving. They remain in police custody for questioning.
Due to ongoing investigations, road damage and vehicle recovery, the A5 in both directions is likely to remain closed throughout the day.
Road closures are currently between the A428 at Crick - junction 18 of the M1 - and the A45 at Weedon - junction 16 of the M1.
Drivers are advised to avoid the area where possible.
