THERE'S plenty of sparkle and ostrich plumes as Rugby Theatre present hit musical La Cage Aux Folles.
Glitzy St Tropez is home to the fabulous glamour of George and Albin’s world-famous revue club where not everything is how it first seems.
Panic breaks out at son Jean-Michel’s wedding announcement, as his fiancée’s father is president of the Tradition, Family and Morality Party, which has pledged to close down such clubs.
But an elaborate hoax is cooked up to dispel any concerns when the two sets of parents meet.
In the best tradition of farce, it all goes hilariously wrong, but along the way there are tears, love and laughs, and classic songs including I Am What I Am, The Best of Times and the title number La Cage Aux Folles.
The musical runs from Saturday (June 16) to 23.
