GARDENING guru Alan Titchmarsh will be donning his royalist hat for a chat at Warwick School on July 18.
An Evening with Alan Titchmarsh, in the Guy Nelson Hall at Warwick School, will see the broadcaster, novelist, journalist and gardener look back at Queen Elizabeth's 60 years on the throne. He focuses on the Queen's Christmas messages, royal weddings and births, to historical events and cultural milestones.
The evening, which starts at 8pm, is being a Warwick Words Extra event.

And to mark the Olympic Torch journey into Warwick, Adharanand Finn will tell about his epic personal quest to discover the remarkable secrets of the world’s greatest runners in his book, Running with the Kenyans, at the Lord Leycester Hospital in Warwick on July 1, at 7.30pm. Tickets as above.
The Warwick Words literary festival runs from September 28 to October 7.
