Hi: 10° Lo:3° 7 day

POLICE are appealing for help after an elderly man was found collapsed in an alleyway next to a pub in Wolston.
The 72-year-old was found lying on the floor by members of staff next to the Rose and Crown pub, Main Street, on Friday (April 13) at around 12.30am.
He had suffered a cut to his head and a swollen hand, and he could not remember what had happened.
He was picked up by the people who found him and was seen home safely.
The next day he went to pay the paperboy and found £180 had gone missing from his wallet.
Police are now trying to establish what happened between the man leaving the pub and him being found in the alleyway.
A spokeswoman for Warwickshire Police said: "We are unclear exactly what has happened and if the man has been a victim of theft."
