DAVID Newton celebrated victory as Rugby RCC held a 13.6 mile time-trial on the hilly K3 Napton/Staverton course.
Newton won in 35-15 to finish ahead of second placed Adrian Tayles (35-43) and Phil Scott (35-55) in third.
Promising 15-year-old Ryan Kenworthy also rode well to beat the 40 minute barrier, finishing in 39-03.
