ROMEO and Juliet gets an Anglo-Polish re-working at Rugby Theatre.
Set in a typical town in Britain where work is scarce and tensions amongst the native Brits and the Polish immigrants are high, production is promoted as a modern but faithful reworking of the tale of the star-crossed lovers.
It is part of the Royal Shakespeare Company's Open Stages project which aims to embrace, develop and celebrate amateur theatre.
The production has already gained national and international interest, from the likes of the RSC itself, BBC Radio 4, and Polish national radio.
It runs from May 12 to 19 (excluding Sunday), at 7.30pm nightly.
To book tickets call the box office on 01788 541234. It is open weekdays from 7pm to 8pm, and 10.30am to 12.30am on Saturday. From May 14 to 18 it will also be open weekdays from noon to 2pm. Tickets will be available on the door subject to availability,
