THE new cricket season gets underway for Willoughby CC this weekend.
Ahead of the start of the new South Northants League season at the end of the month, the first of two senior friendly games will see Braunston Paddox visit The Green on Saturday (2pm).
Leamington Khalsa are then the visitors on April 21, before the first weekend of the new league season begins on April 28.
The 1sts will again compete in Division One and begin with a home fixture against Greens Norton, whilst the 2nds will begin life back in Division Four with a visit to Chipping Warden.
The league seasons for Willoughby’s junior cricketers start on April 24 when the u13s make the short trip to Barby.
The u15s have their first fixture on May 3 with a visit to Long Itchington, whilst the club’s new u11s team have to wait for their very first game which is on May 17 with a short trip to face Oakfield.
THE club are always keen to welcome new playing members at both senior and junior levels.
