TWO men threatened a woman during a raid on a shop in Newbold.

The woman working at the Co-op on Main Street was grabbed and pushed out of the store during the robbery on Wednesday (March 28) shortly before 10pm.

The other staff members were then pushed to the back of the shop. Nobody was injured.

The pair who robbed the shop made off with cash, along with bottles of spirits and champagne.

Police have described them as stocky Asian men, around 6ft tall and wearing hoodies. One also had his face covered.
