THIEVES are believed to have 'hooked' the keys to a motorbike through the letterbox of a house before riding off with it.

Police have issued a warning after thieves used a piece of wire pushed through the letterbox of a house on Gladstone Street to steal the keys last night (Thursday).

The keys were then used to steal the homeowner's Yamaha motorbike.

Warwickshire Police has warned people to make sure they keep keys and other small valuables in a secure place, out of sight of any windows and letterboxes.
