Footage of man police want to speak to after sexual assault released

FOOTAGE of a man police want to question in connection with a sexual assault in the town on New Year's Eve has been released.

Police have released the images after a woman was touched inappropriately by a man while walking alone along Lawford Road sometime between 10.30pm and 10.45pm on December 31.

The CCTV footage shows the man walking past the town's Asda store. He is described as a slim Asian or Arabic male with short dark hair, in his mid to late 20s and around 5ft 6in tall.

He wore a black woolly hat, black jacket and blue jeans.
