BRAZEN thieves walked into an unlocked house and helped themselves to the keys to a Porsche 911 before smashing it through a set of gates and driving it off.
The thieves struck at a home in Church Hill, Stretton on Dunsmore, yesterday (Thursday) after walking in and picking up the car keys from a bowl in the hallway.
They also attempted to steal an expensive BMW from the gated driveway but were disturbed by the homeowners.
The gang then fled in the covertible Porsche 911 - smashing it through the heavy metal gates and possibly damaging the front end - and drove off towards the A423.
Police believe they may have then crashed the car at the Tollbar End roundabout on the A45 near Ryton before driving off along the A45 towards Birmingham.
