LABOUR leader Ed Miliband was quizzed by students in Rugby during a visit to the Power Academy.
Mr Miliband was at Warwickshire College's Mill Road campus on Friday (November 11) where he was joined by shadow business secretary Chuka Umunna in a question and answer session with students.
He was asked questions on a range of topics currently affecting young people, including university tuition fees, youth unemployment and the future of Britain's manufacturing industries.
Mr Miliband said: "I was delighted to visit the Power Academy at Warwickshire College, to see the fantastic work being done to give young people the skills they need to get on.
"The students, staff, and partners all asked some really searching questions and we had an excellent discussion about Labour's plan for jobs and growth.”
Earlier in the day Mr Miliband had visited Converteam to tour the plant and take a look at its current manufacturing projects.
It is not the first high profile visit the £6 million Power Academy has enjoyed since opening last year. In January, Ed Balls paid a visited the day after he was appointed Shadow Chancellor.
